(archived from May 17, 2012)
Thirty-eight members of Congress wrote Secretary Hilda Solis, opposing the Department of Labor’s recent proposed changes to the H-2B visa program. The letter, written at the request of the NHLA and other members of the H-2B Coalition, strongly urged Secretary Solis to officially withdraw both pending H-2B regulation due to the financial hardship these proposed changes would cause small businesses that rely on the program. The letter emphasized that the claims of small businesses against the new H-2B regulations were validated by recent federal court findings.
